Woodlodge
Strandcamping Duinoord has two 6-person woodlodges. Ideal for those who enjoy camping but are looking for a little more comfort. Here you can experience the outdoor feeling of a tent, combined with the convenience of a bungalow. A great place for families who want to enjoy the beach, nature, and relaxation on Ameland together.
The woodlodge is approximately 32 m² in size and constructed of wood, with a canvas roof. The wooden floor with underfloor heating and the air conditioning provide extra comfort. Even when it is a bit cooler outside, or on hot summer days, it always remains pleasant inside. This makes this accommodation suitable for longer stays and for vacations in the early and late seasons.
A big plus is the private bathroom. The shower and toilet are located in the woodlodge itself. This provides peace, privacy, and convenience, especially when staying with children.

The woodlodge has two bedrooms:
- One bedroom with a double bed (140 x 200 cm)One bedroom with two bunk beds (90 x 200 cm)
Duvets are provided as standard. Linen packages can be booked as an option. This allows you to travel light and have everything ready for use upon arrival.

- What is included with a hiker's cabin at Strandcamping Duinoord?
A hiker's cabin (we call this a camping bungalow) has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, living room and a private terrace with garden furniture. Gas, water and electricity are included, as are final cleaning and use of the campsite facilities. There is also underfloor heating and air conditioning.
- Do I have to bring my own bed linen?
If you have booked a chalet or woodlodge, bed linen and bath towels are automatically included. For glamping tents, bed linen is optional. You can bring your own or hire it on arrival. Kitchen linen can be hired separately
- How far is the hiker's cabin from the beach?
The cabin is located directly behind the dunes. It takes just a few minutes to walk from your cabin to the beach.
- Are pets allowed in the hiker's cabins?
No, unfortunately, you are not allowed to bring your pet to the log cabins. Pets are not allowed anywhere on our premises.
- What is the latest time I can check in to my hiker's cabin?
You can check in during reception opening hours. If the reception is closed, please go to the supermarket. Click here for current opening hours.
