Can I take my car on the ferry to Ameland?

If you have booked a chalet or camping bungalow, bed linen and bath towels are automatically included. For glamping tents, bed linen is optional. You can bring your own or hire it on arrival. Kitchen linen can be hired separately

No, pets are not permitted at Strandcamping Duinoord in order to protect the peace and quiet and nature.

When is the campsite open?

The campsite is open from the end of March to the end of October, as are the glamping tents and other rental accommodations. However, Midgaard Holiday Home is open all year round.

Can I drive my car onto the campsite?

Cars are only permitted on the campsite upon arrival and departure (loading and unloading). Upon arrival, you can first unload your luggage and then park your car in the campsite's central car park (paid) or in a free public car park just outside the campsite (about 150 metres from the reception).

We don't have our own swimming pool, but our guests don't find themselves missing one. After all, the sea is right on our doorstep, and it's the largest and most beautiful pool you could wish for.
