Kiewiet Bike Hire has three branches on Ameland: in the centre of Nes, at the ferry terminal and at our campsite. That makes hiring a bike really easy. The branch at the ferry terminal makes it even easier for you with a luggage service to the campsite.
You can choose from a wide range of bikes for the whole family. From children’s bikes and tandems to mountain bikes and comfortable electric bikes. Cargo bikes and bikes with or without gears are also available. This means you’ll always be well prepared to set off and explore the island.

Nobel Bike Hire
Nobel Bike Hire has several branches across the island, in Nes, Ballum and Hollum, with additional service points in Buren. So there’s always a branch nearby for service or maintenance.
Nobel also offers a handy luggage service. Are you travelling with a group? Then the bikes will even be ready and waiting for you at the ferry. That way, you can start your cycle tour of the island in a relaxed manner.
