Specialities of Ameland
On Ameland, enjoyment isn’t just about the beach and nature, but also about good, wholesome food. The island is renowned for its pure, local produce and traditional dishes. Think of Ameland mustard soup, Ameland sugar bread and tender Ameland lamb.
Many restaurants use fresh ingredients sourced directly from the island itself. You can really taste the difference. Honest, traditional and prepared with care. This makes a dinner on Ameland feel just that little bit more special.
